In a beautiful pea-green boat also grew from a scrap of paper, this time with scribbles of a barque-ish sequence, probably sketched sometime in 1988-89 during breaks between rehearsals when Dmitry was working on a new program with 8-piece Jazz Rock Fusion band Room 118 at the recording studio in one of the drama theatres in St. Petersburg, Russia. This material was reworked and arranged for Sketchbook. Koos’ tight drum part infused this Neo-baroque electronic arrangement with a good dose of Funk Rock and so a new meld was completed. When Carol Ermakova, one of MetaQuorum’s vocals, listened to the mix, it triggered a visual image, and she gave the track its name.
