Formula One is a fast-paced prog-jazz-rock-fusion Intro, a sort of tribute to all those who, paraphrasing Gogol, ‘like to drive fast’. The track was developed from a spontaneous improvisation at MetaQuorum’s New Year 2023 party. It’s a sort of transition from the Witchcraft Jazz musical palette to a new, more restrained and compact arrangement and format. The track is also a kind of nod to The Racer from MetaQuorum’s debut album Midnight Sun (2015).
